What is a certified translation?
A certified (or sworn) translation is an official translation that carries the translator's statement of accuracy, signature and stamp. The translator takes legal responsibility for it, so the receiving authority can rely on it as it would on the original. Depending on the destination, we use a court-sworn translator (France), a certified translator (USA, UK), a certified member of a provincial order (Canada) or a sworn translator (Belgium, Spain, Germany).
What is it used for?
Visa and residence permit applications, immigration to Canada (IRCC), the United States (USCIS) or Europe, university admissions and Campus France, diploma recognition, marriage to a foreign national, inheritance, court proceedings, international tenders, and setting up a company or subsidiary in Côte d'Ivoire.
Translation + legalization: one point of contact
Many documents must be translated and then legalized (or apostilled) before they are accepted abroad. We coordinate the whole chain: certified translation, certification of the translator's signature, legalization at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then at the embassy, and secure return of your file.
